Description
Ready-Made Puzzle Frames – Designed and supplied from our New Zealand workshop to Fit and Protect Your puzzle.
Select from the following puzzle frame options to suit your jigsaw size and space:
- Puzzle – Choose your preferred size
- Frame Profile Width – 30mm and 45mm widths available
- Glazing (Acrylic) –
- Standard Clear Acrylic
- UV-Filtering Clear Acrylic
- Both of the above glazing options provide excellent clarity with a durable, impact-resistant finish that won’t shatter like glass.
- Frame Colour – Black, White, Walnut Brown or Natural Timber
As puzzle sizes increase, the range of suitable frame widths becomes more limited. This is because narrower profiles don’t provide the structural support needed for larger pieces. For bigger works, we guide you toward slightly wider frames that ensure strength, stability, and a well-balanced finish.
Whether you’ve completed a 500-piece, 1000-piece, or larger jigsaw, our frames are designed to make finishing your puzzle easy. No glue is necessarily required — puzzles can be carefully placed and secured inside the frame using non-invasive methods – sandwiched between the backing and the glazing, keeping everything flat and protected. Framing your puzzle not only preserves the work you’ve put in, it also turns it into something you can display and enjoy for years to come.

Material Quality
We use premium-grade acrylic — clear, stable, and far more robust than the thin, flexible acrylic often found in lower-cost ready-made frames — ensuring your artwork is properly protected and presented. We also use carefully selected, high-quality materials throughout. Our frames are made from solid, well-finished timber with durable paint and stain finishes designed to last. Matboards and backing boards are acid-free as standard, with conservation-grade options available for long-term protection.
If you can’t find exactly what you’re after, feel free to get in touch — we’re always happy to help tailor a solution.

Puzzle Framing FAQs
Do I need to glue my puzzle before framing?
For smaller frames, no glue is needed — our glazed frames are designed to hold your puzzle securely in place. For larger sizes above 510 × 510 mm, we recommend using a suitable puzzle glue to bond the puzzle to the backing board provided for added stability.
Will the puzzle stay flat over time?
Yes — with proper backing and support, your puzzle remains stable and protected.
Can I remove the puzzle later?
Yes — frames are designed for future access if needed.
