One Framing Workshop Helping Another
Picture framing is a relatively small industry in New Zealand.
Over the years we’ve been fortunate to build long-standing relationships with fellow framers who occasionally call on us when a project requires something a little different. We see those relationships as an important part of our industry, and we’re always pleased when our workshop can help another workshop continue looking after its own customers.
Whether it’s a one-off project or something more regular, we’re always happy to have a conversation.
Where We Can Help
From time to time fellow framers ask us to assist with:
Oversized Framing • Oversized Mounting • Large Backing Boards • Computerised Matboard Cutting • Production Runs • Complex Framing Projects • Temporary Workload Support • Cut Glass • Trade Hardware
Sometimes it’s simply easier than investing in equipment or materials that may only be needed occasionally.
When a Project Gets Bigger Than the Workshop
Every workshop has jobs that stretch the available space or equipment.
Our workshop allows us to assist with projects involving oversized framing, large-format mounting up to 2400 × 1300 mm, oversized backing boards, heavy-duty assembly and other projects that can be difficult to accommodate in a typical framing workshop.
We’re also the recognised North Island supplier of oversized backing boards distributed by Larson-Juhl New Zealand.
Those Hard-to-Find Bits & Pieces
Alongside our framing services, many fellow framers purchase products from us that can be difficult to source or aren’t always practical to buy in large commercial quantities.
These include:
Cardboard Corner Protectors • Swiss Clips • Glass Plates • Oversized Backing Boards • Selected Framing Consumables
If there’s something you’re trying to source, we’re always happy to see if we can help.
Working Together
No two framing workshops are exactly the same.
Some have equipment we don’t. Others have facilities we don’t. That’s one of the strengths of our industry.
If our workshop, machinery, floor space or product range can occasionally help another framer complete a project, we’re more than happy to play that role. We see it as workshops supporting one another rather than competing with one another.
Not Local?
We regularly assist fellow framers throughout New Zealand.
Materials, components and completed work are couriered to and from our Palmerston North workshop every week, making it straightforward to work together regardless of where your business is based.
