1mm Surflon Wire uses nylon covered (clear) braided stainless steel wire, sliding through tubular metal ferrules which are then crimped tight.
The nylon covering keeps the cut ends of the braided wire together, so it feeds easily through the ferrules. Stainless steel wire eliminates any risk of breakage through corrosion – important if your customers are near a sea coast. Figures are breaking strain, so picture weights should be half that or less.
