Always use a wire with a tensile strength at least double that of the weight of the picture.

Weight ratings given are Maximum Picture Weights.

Stainless steel will not corrode in salt-laden or damp environments. Ideal for use in coastal areas, but stainless wire is always safe, anywhere.
